Not for beginners…
I love this painting but many of the areas do not have a number on the canvas or the paper guide. I have just made my best guess. Plus, certain areas were not well drawn on the canvas so I had to copy the picture. However, the overall colors of the painting are better and brighter than the picture.

Not as pictured
This was fun. I enjoyed it a lot. The only down fall is that the finished painting does not look like what is advertised. Disappointed. Also wish there was a way to order more numbered paints because they do dry quickly.

Beautiful, but the Colors are Different
I ordered this project because I thought it was gorgeous with the white details at the top of the tree in the product image. However, my finished project has way more reds and oranges then pictured in the original product image. It’s much darker looking overall as well. The colors are vibrant and gorgeous, but not like the product image.

So fun!
Loved this project! Subtracted one star because the light colors required several coats to cover the numbers. Would buy from this seller again; definitely worth the price and love the final result!

Fun to paint but colors are off
The colors of the sky and table are really off. The enclosed pic has light blue skies and the paint makes it look dark. Table is white in the pic but the paint says make it gray. The bridge also needs different colors. Once i fix it, it should look cool!

Nice kit
Paint was spot on. Didn’t have to fix any of the details. I really like the color choices they made in this painting. It is really nice to look at.

Great paint by number
I loved this paint by number! Only complaint was that some of the colors were too light and needed a few coats to cover the numbers but overall was a enjoyable paint.

Not exactly up to par…
#1: The 16×20 is not accurate. There should be 1″ additional overlap to allow for the canvas stretching. This does not. It’s exactly at 16×20″ so you are unable to stretch the canvas correctly.#2: See the picture… mislabeled of the colors. So is #9 actually #3? Or is #3 the correct color? Is #9 the correct color placement?Who knows…

Many numbers are missing, the painting is “cut off”
The painting itself is beautiful, but it is really frustrating as many numbers are just missing! More than that, the painting does not correspond to the “original” as it is cut off by the sides from that small square that is included as an original.

Very detailed and challenging yet beautiful!
Still working on the finishing touches. Some areas the numbers are not clear. Some are missing… I also had one of the color paints was dried out. I had to try to match the color in order to finish my painting. Overall it is quite beautiful!

Nice, but lots of work
This will be a gorgeous finished painting, but it’s a lot of work. Most of the paints are so thin they will need to have several coats in order to cover the numbers. Also there are a LOT of tiny little spaces to fill in (which is obvious if you look at the product), and I severely underestimated how long it’d take to do. But again, if I ever finish it will be stunning.

Dark numbers
I’ve done a lot of pbn, this one has really dark numbers and thin yellow paints so you have to coat it like 4 or more times. Should lighten the numbers. Still came out great, took a bit of time though.

To put enough paint on thick enough so numbers don’t show thru.
Always loved paint by no. but these must be computer generated. I am an artist per sei.when i first looked at canvas very detailed & i ended up loving the challenge. I am almost finished this one its verypretty. bit of advise don’t be stingy putting on the paint because i have to go back now over quite a bit. very nicevery relaxing

Beautiful and Fun!
This project was just the right mix of relaxing open blocks and challenging intricate details …Sometimes I have the hardest time picking a starting point and/or organizing how I “move” within the picture…but this one was stress-free! Just pick a flower, complete it and then move on…Very gratifying! The canvas came folded and need a bit of ironing. I know that does bother some.Concerning the paint…I pretreated the canvas with clear gesso and I used a flow additive …so I can’t review how well the paints cover if used, “as is”…but…the supply was more than needed. Finally, I love my finished piece! I think is is just beautiful!

Not to size
Completely dissatisfied with this painting. I spent weeks painting this in the evenings after work only to try and stretch it onto a 16×20 frame and it is too small. They did not leave enough excess to wrap and the “hangers” they sent with the kit make no sense at all (two hangers and 2 screws). I purchased a separate 14×16 frame and it would have cut off so much of the painting. Do I want to lose all the flowers at the bottom and have a random sign floating in midair or do I chop off the top of the Eiffel Tower??!?! Now I’m off to the craft store to find a glass-less frame.Other than the size issue, the paint quality was okay. Some were think and goopy but thinned with water. Some numbers were far too large and hard to cover, mostly the yellow and lighter colors. Fun project but will not buy this brand again.

Beautiful and easy!
Bought this a while ago and finally painted it! It was so easy to paint and very enjoyable!! The paint is some of the best I have used. Very smooth! I love the picture and can’t believe I finished it so quickly. I would guesstimate about 10 hours, which may sound long but really just 10 hours of relaxation and extreme enjoyment! So happy with it! Beautiful picture and fantastic paint!!! Highly recommend!

lovely painting
Really impressed with the detail in this rose painting. Some numbers are hard to read. Did not like the really bright orange color in the roses, so I adjusted. The photo is not true-on with the paint colors included. Not the less, fun and a challenge well worth the effort.

Nice paint-by-number set
It’s a great set. There is one thing I don’t like about this set: the numbers are a bit too bright and will need a few additional coats of paint not to be visibility in the final product.

Use own brushes
Pretty, fun, simple. Not a quick process, though, so don’t bother rushing. Great way to zone out in a productive way between college study sessions. The brushes provided are a joke – the handle broke on one, the bristles shredded on another, and none are small enough for the teeeeny sections of painting. I am proceeding for now with provided brushes, and will go back to touch up with better later once I can get some. Paints are surprisingly ample and have good coverage. I’m a lefty, and new at this, but my method is to begin with dark colors, across the top, across the middle, across the bottom, then go back in case I missed any in the scavenger hunt of numbers. I’m hoping it’s a delicate exercise of the mind, this searching for numbers, haha. I’ll be buying more.

great kit!
This is very detailed, and I am very impressed. At times I was worried the colors were wrong, as when you have your nose on the canvas, some just dont seem to mesh, but when you step back and look at the finish product you definitely feel a little like a professional artist, albeit a cheater. The kit arrived with a printed, folded canvas, 30 lil paint pots, 3 brushes, a paper “map” of numbers, hanging supplies, and a small (2″×3″) photograph of the finished piece.I’m a little less than thrilled of the actual paint quality, which varied from pot-to-pot. Some was runny, some was quite thick. The runny just required an extra coat, the thick needed a bit of thinning with a little water, annoying, but not a game changer for me. I did, however, barely use half of what was provided, I still have a bunch of paint left over.I managed to finish this in just under three weeks, and enjoyed every moment. I’m now trying to get my sister to buy a kit so we can have social painting time. 10/10, would, and I have, recommend this kit.

Not for beginners. Some spaces missing number. Some numbers too small to read even when magnified. Color choices seem very random giving it an abstract look instead clean straight lines. Finished product did not look like picture.

Great!
Plenty of paint to complete, looks great, dried fast. I took it to Costa Rica in a ziplock and left it on the kitchen table of our Air B&B. Three of our 20 something’s completed in within a few evenings, taking turns. A good mindless activity that is not a phone screen. Note: They did recoat several of the areas so paint was more opaque & textured.

Fun Craft – Paint Like A Pro
This paint-by-number art canvas is fun to use. You feel like a pro once the entire canvas has been painted. So numbers are easier to see than others because of the size of the space given for that number. The canvas is a good quality and the paint does not bleed through to the back. The paint is a good quality as well and cleans up with water. The kit includes brushes, paint, and the canvas. I would recommend this product.

Thick paint, but cheap brushes
The quality of the canvas is nice, and the paint is thick, so it goes a long way. The brushes however are cheap and don’t give clean lines, so you should probably buy your own variety of brushes if you want a more quality outcome. I have noticed that the lighter colors I have to do two coats of to cover the numbers. Not sure if that’s just a given for all light colored paint.

Not for beginners
I enjoyed relaxing while painting this, but found that a number of areas were not numbered and I had to make a guess. It looks ok but more “impressionistic” than the picture. The paint lasted but brown and black were at the very end so I added a drop of water to make them last. Small brushes are not high quality for the detail required in this painting.

Happy Painting
This is an exciting kit! I have purchased quite a few kits, and as you know, it takes a while to paint one of these. Theyen I do get started on it, I will edit my review. are so relaxing and time passes so quickly when I am painting. I am already in the last stages of finishing Gondolas in Venice and I have another one mounted. I have purchased three of them for a focal feature over my couch. I didn’t give it five stars, because I haven’t started it yet

Pretty
Very pretty. Lots of relaxing enjoyment. The color picture is tiny but I took a screenshot of the Amazon order photo and refer back to that now and then.Paint numbers 21 and 22 were out of order and consequently mislabeled for some reason. I wasn’t sure until I painted the wrong color on all of 21 so had to go back over them but it still looks pretty. Glad I caught it.

Good challenge
So I’ve done a handful of paint by numbers before and never have I seen one that had gray stipes in the background. I assume I’m supposed to paint it black but it shocked me when I opened it. Also, the numbers are a deep black and some of the paints are really light. I hope the paints aren’t too opaque because if they are then it’s going to take multiple coats to cover the numbers.

Such a fun picture to paint!
Beautiful picture and I’m really having fun painting it. The paints are fresh (I’ve had some that are old and dry). The only downside is that there are some minute areas and I can’t see what number to paint in those areas even with a magnifying glass.

Not like the picture. Not very detailed, so I looks amateurish.
Good quality canvas, but not nearly as detailed as the photo in the ad. It has chunky areas of color, when it needed a lot more detailed color to look like the ad. Showing a pic of the sticker that comes with it to show the chunky color areas

I had so much fun doing this! Overall everything was great. A few of the individual paints were lumpy – only two were noticeably bad. But for the price, this was great. However, if you can’t read small print this is not for you. Many of the spaces were very tiny!!

Too many numbers missing
This was the most expensive one I’ve bought and the most impossible one to paint. It has a lot of spaces with no numbers. When you look at the paper copy there’s no numbers there either. The paint is nice and thick so if you are creative you can paint free style.

If unmodified, looks like alot of pink, orange and red
I ended up modifying three of the colors on this painting because it was coming out so different from the beautiful picture it came with (shown). As I painted initially, nearly all the colors were orange or pink or red. I saw in the picture that #10 on the body of the tree looks brown, but all of it looked red (with imperceptible differences) between color 10 11 and 12 that were supposed to make up the trunk. I ended up adding some dark brown/purple to #10 from another paint set to make it look a little bit more purple brown. I added a little bit of green to number 20 to make it look more golden-Brown than yellow. I added some green to# 21 (which looked exactly like #16 Yellow beforehand to make it look green, as it did in the picture.) I used my own blue paint to paint the frame. After that, I absolutely loved the outcome.

I personally used it to rehabilitate a surgical shoulder.
I can’t say I’d suggest this for a beginner. This was my very first painting. It’s very intriquite. I personally loved the challenge though. For this particular painting. You need a very steady hand. A good amount of patience, an great eyesight ( I used a magnifying glass for a decent amount of it.) As well as time. Most of this painting required 2 coats to do this efficiently. They do however give you enough paint to complete it. Highly recommend to those with a bit more experience. Most definitely giftable. Have already purchased 4 more paintings. This is my personal “calgon take me away” daily relaxer.

Not easy…I’m a beginner painter.
Its very hard to rate this…I have started this project because a friend hosted a “wine & paint” party by zoom. So several of us went ahead and ordered paint by number products. The product came with everything it advertised. It did not come with an easel which would be extremely helpful. What I did was pin the canvas to some cardboard and set up on a low dresser under a light. But I am 56 and my eyes needed some stronger readers to be able to see the lines and numbers. It’s a tedious project with so many tiny spots to paint. It came with 3 paint brushes which are very cheap and don’t last long. I broke into my stash and found better brushes. The smaller and stiffer the brushes the easier it is to paint. This is my first time painting one of these paint by numbers and I am determined to finish it. But I have no doubt it will take me at least a month. I do a tiny bit every single day. Will I try this again? No way. I’d rather take a course and learn to paint free style.

Peonies were Beautiful! Yellow Roses–NOT!
I loved the peony painting so I was really anxious to do the Yellow Roses. What I got was nothing like the picture. Instead of gray the background is browns, which would be fine except it is just full of different colored lines that don’t make any sense at all. The yellow paints are actually the most garish and ugly golds. I’m sending this one right back. It is horrible. I am loving this painting. The directions say to paint one color at a time but I prefer going section by section in case I want to shade some areas. I strictly painted this one just like the numbers and did not shade any areas together. I gave it 4 stars because some colors need two coats. Be sure to go slowly in blackish areas or when it dries you will see little white specks where the paint didn’t get into the canvas. This is only my 3rd paint by number so I have a lot to learn but I’m happy with what I have done.

Opalberry paint by numbers is better quality. I bought the Venice one- appreciate the copy of the numbers but some numbers were waAaay too small and the quality of brushes was sub-par, I.e. the feathers kept coming apart.

Terrible Paint.
The media could not be loaded.
Paint numbers #1 and 2 are used frequently in the canvas and although I’m not half way finish it is almost entirely finished.. these two colors are not smooth and creamy it’s very hard to apply them although I ensure the lids are always closed firmly..So I gave a 1 star for insufficient amount and another 1 for difficulty applying.. the lighter colors are smooth but needs several applications to cover the numbers..I finally finished this canvas and found it extremely challenging for the paint ..I ran out of #1and #2 and #3 had to find these colors from other PBN kits.. colors like #19,20,21,22,23,24,17,18,11,12 I had a large amount remaining and creamy.. so why not have 2 of 1,2 and 3 they were used more frequently and was not enough they also became crusty and dry making it hard to use

Size is wrong
While the description says this item is 16×20, it’s more like 15.5×19.5, with barely any cloth to wrap around a frame. This makes framing the work very difficult. Don’t lie about the size.Edited to add that in addition, not all spots are numbered.
