Warning: size matters!
Is this a joke?? The dimensions are very misleading. I’m looking for an actual artist’s easel, not a child’s playtoy. This is WAY too small to actually do anything with. Returning.

Looks good but shocking quality
The media could not be loaded.
The product looks good but the quality is just not there. There is a crack and many scratches throughout. It also does not sit flat on the floor as seen in the video.

Great Easel, Fabulous Customer Service
I received this easel for Christmas last year. It’s a great little canvas-holder. I DID have a problem with the top sliding piece that holds the canvas down–it broke after adjustment last week, maybe it was screwed down too tight. At any rate, I contacted the company and they immediately set to replacing the part for me. This morning their US Customer Service agent, Frank, messaged me to be sure of the part I needed. He asked for a photo. Since I have a painting in the works, it was included in the photo. Frank not only was pleasant and efficient about the part, he complimented my work and followed my Instagram page. And the part is on its way. Frank is a great guy. And Meeden is a friendly company. All around fabulous experience when an unexpected problem occurred.I love the adjustability of this easel, and its size. I’m happy. 🙂

Buy it. Put it together. Paint on it.
The drawer attachment is a super detail. It adds sturdiness to the assembly by a power of 10. Plus, it’s a perfect place for my latte while I work. I have a small space and really wanted a medium sturdiness model. But this 17×17 footprint was really all that would work. The supply drawer stabilizes this thing better than the Deuxième Étage stabilizes the Eiffel Tower.The hardware is CLEARLY labeled. And, if you don’t have a phillips head, the kit comes with its own screwdriver. WHAT??!!!

Hard to assemble
I would have given this 5 stars if it had been easier to put together. The directions are NOT written in English so you have to assemble it using the pictures in the book. I had to assemble and reassemble it several times because the pictures were not clear as to what side should be facing up.Also there should be a knob on the drawer. I will purchase one at Lowe’s.

Decent easel, looks great in my house!
A little confusing to put together by yourself, but okay otherwise. Drawer fits my oil pains and I put my brushes on the shelf. Only complaint is that it doesn’t hold the painting very sturdy.

Buyer beware
This easel was fairly easy to put together and it looks good. It has storage space and is temporarily easy to use. However, within a few weeks it won’t hold any sized canvas including a small 8×10 inch canvas due to weight issues and design. It falls to the base when attempting to paint whenever it is in use. I have adjusted it as suggested in the directions but this did not help. I have purchased many easels as I work as a professional artist and art teacher. This is the first time I have had this issue. I’ve used this easel for painting. I planned to move it to my classroom for my art students. But, I can’t because it won’t stay in place. Since it has been used I’m unable to process a refund. I can’t recommend this product. It does not work.

I wish I could give more stars for sturdiness
I decided to upgrade my old easel to one with storage. This think took maybe 10-15 minutes to assemble and came with a pretty decent screw driver as well. The adjustable bottom height lets you sit on the floor, low height chair/, regular chair, or a stool. The top of the drawer can be used as a shelf as well and has notches or brushes. This thing is solid wood and VERY STURDY I was very impressed with that. The top adjustment is easy to use as well. Overall a great product at a reasonable price!!

That it adjusts to fit the size of the canvas.
It was easy to assemble using the directions given. All hardware and tools needed were included. The only thing that I was surprised to find out was that the height is basically for sitting down to paint, which isn’t really a bad thing. If I take this outside I will need to remember to bring along a comfortable chair. I haven’t used it yet but am looking forward to being able to use and enjoy it.

For years to come
I bought this as a present for my granddaughter. We were all impressed with the quality. The storage drawer is big enough to store all her materials. She is happy to have a study easel that she will be able to use for many years. It was one of my best buys!

A perfect started easel for serious artistic pursuits
The easel was easy to assemble and I love the wood finish!which matches my book shelves.I didn’t realize it was a small as it turned out after assembly,but it proved to be the perfect size for my small studio space. The proof will be in the usage,so I can’t WAIT to get started!!

my first standing easel
I bought this after only using a tabletop easel. I love the color and the build is good. It wasnt too hard to put together, the instructions make it very simple! also, it comes with a screwdriver which is a huge plus.Painting on this thing is nice. Im v happy with this one!

Compact yet it will accommodate a large canvass
I’m using this to do oil paintings. It doesn’t take much room considering how large of a canvass it can handle. I really like the drawer to hold my paints and the shelf.

It is very easy to put it together!! ❤️❤️ The package is really protracted the wood. Every single wood is really well in protracted in the beg. Sturdy Beauty!
This easel is beautiful and warm. It’s sturdy and has a great size range. The storage drawer really makes it ideal. Only “issue” is that if you don’t meticulously look close at the images you mind find yourself taking it apart to flip things around…more than once! Once it’s together though it’s perfection.

Quality control issues
It seems like it could be a good product but a little more quality control is needed. An important part of the assembly is missing one piece, so you can’t attach the legs to the drawer securely. It just falls over. That little part probably only cost $0.05 if you know what it’s called, where to get it, and how to attach it properly before you screw on the leg. But without it the whole thing cannot stand up. Disappointing to say the least.

My husband assembled my easel today, it was very easy. All the small parts are in numbered bags. They even provide you with a screwdriver. In total it took about 30 minutes. If you have any issues assembeling refer to the photos on the Amazon site it might help you, since artist are visual, it seemed to help. The product is VERY sturdy, I just placed a 36×24 canvas on the easel and it is perfect. Don’t expect a massive heavy frame, not super heavy but it is not flimsy or light. If you are short or tall, you just have to adjust the sliders. I am 5′ 2″ tall and I just adjusted it to a comfortable height for me while I stand. You can raise your canvas really high or really low if you sit. I love the idea of a drawer for my paints and while painting you can place your paints etc. on top of the drawer. Very nice product!!

Is not flexible
This is a great product, that’s the reason for the 5 stars. Unfortunately, it has zero flexibility. I need an easel that I can adjust the angle and this product does not allow for this. It was a piece of cake to put together (with the instructions) and I had it put together within 30 minutes by myself. It is very sturdy; I am never concerned with it tipping over. I really like the easel and use it every day, but really wish I could change the angle.

Worth the money
I bought this for my girlfriend’s birthdayGreat quality packaging, no dents or dings during delivery.Greats solid wood.The only thing I wish, was that the drawer had a rail it ran on to make it move smoother.But totally worth the price.
