Beautiful painting, but definitely not for beginners!

This paint by numbers had the most colors and the smallest spaces to paint that I’ve done yet. It’s absolutely stunning, but would not recommend for your first paint by numbers experience. Took about 16 hours to complete.

    FUN!

Watch a YouTube tips on paint by number. I bought gesso and liquidated flow aid. Def couldn’t of done it without the flow aid. Paint in containers thicken fast.. makes a huge difference. You have to have patience.. I’m learning.. 🙂 not sure I’d get this for a first timer.. learn on something less detailed first in my opinion. I am that first timer .. but enjoying!

This has been fun, unfortunately the paint is really thin and requires multiple layers to cover up the numbers

    Great gift

I gave this set to my sister for her birthday and she loved it. It took her sometime to complete, but all she needed was included. The painting is now hanging in her home and looks amazing.

Amazing colors! Be prepared to do a second coat… and a third…

This is a fun project — I’ve done lots of paint by numbers and I especially love the colors of this piece. However, almost all of the 24 paints need at least a second coat. Even the black needs a second! Beware that this this will lengthen the time to completion.

    Enjoyed working on this!

I really enjoyed working on this! This was my 3rd paint by number and probably the most enjoyable….I found it easier to work with than the others and get so many comments on how beautiful it came out…..Of course pros and cons to all of them….I loved that it came rolled—that makes a huge difference…the others I had to iron out and still saw creases….not this…..Second, it came with extra paint for larger areas…not all do….Only con I found with this one is that some of the paints did not cover the numbers even with multiple coats…I had to put a thick dot on the number….but other than that once I framed it I loved the way it came out….

Unfortunately the paint didn’t match the image. The green paint was provided for the blue sky. Urgh I was so excited to do this one.

    Actually enjoyed this one, however..

This was the truest to it’s advertisement on Amazon that I’ve bought. I didn’t realize it doesn’t come with the frame, which is a little annnoying. Brushes are terrrrrrrrible quality but I expected nothing more. Pretty good for an Amazon paint by numbers, I tossed the other one I got.I’ll post my completed work when I’m done, still in progress.

    Solid paint by number product!

Colorful and fun! This is the third paint-by-number I’ve done, and by far the most challenging. Some of the numbers are very hard to see, so I suggest a magnifying glass to assist. Lots of fine point detail, and the paint brushes included were adequate, unlike other PBN sets I’ve bought.

    Gorgeous

First coat took about 18 hours. I had to do many many layers in order to cover the numbers. (The numbers bled through.) Don’t wet your brushes. It’s worth the extra time.

    Better than expected!

Awesome quality. It comes with a thick cloth print, a small paper copy, and a small sample of the completed picture. Im assuming the paper copy is to practice on? Lord knows i dont know how to paint so i need all the practice. Haha Thank you for that! The brushes provided are a little too big so i ordered a small 11 piece detail brush set for $5.99. Much better. I recommend a magnifying glass also 👌😊

    Good quality!

This was a great painting to do, only thing I would suggest is to start with pink numbers/light colors since you will need to go over it again. But it wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be seeing it before hand. There are lots of little bubbles to paint, but still it did not take me very long and I enjoyed it!

Really tedious but a great project

This is was so fun to do but some of the spots don’t have numbers so you have to wait till ur done and then make ur own judgement what color is best there. Happy with it tho, colors are great but some of the lighter colors need to be more pigmented bc they are kinda sheer.

This was so fun to do!!

The media could not be loaded.

This was alot of fun to do, was it difficult at times yes the numbers are small, very time consuming. you have more then enough paints , you won’t run out. Make sure you get a bigger frame then what it says or you will have to cut the white boarder out, like I did. I will be definitely buying another one to do. Oh have a glass of wine and enjoy!

I really enjoyed painting these. It was a mother daughter project while my daughter was home from college. The paint has pretty good coverage mostly. The canvas was very pliable. It became a zen thing for me to relax and just focus on a project. Looking for more pieces to purchase and complete for gifts now.

Loved it until I got to the last color…

I thoroughly enjoyed this paint by number until I got to the last color (#12). I opened it up and it was completely dry. The order comes with two vials of this color, but I don’t think I will have enough to complete the painting. I am way past my return window, and I can’t find contact information for the vendor to ask what color it is, so I can purchase it on my own. 😩

    An Eye Catching Result

Wow. Just, wow. This finished painting is absolutely stunning! Completely true to the picture, awesome canvas and brilliant colors. My sister also painted one and we both switched the blues in the iris to exactly match our eye colors which was fun and turned out perfectly! The yellows and a couple reds can be challenging as they are on the thin side (if you’re a PBN enthusiast you’ll know what I mean) but I matched the colors and swapped out with some thicker acrylics I had. It was worth the troubleshooting because this painting truly eye catching! Oh, and it looks very complex, but even with all the tiny spaces, it goes quickly and was super enjoyable to paint. It’s tough in the PBN world to find those super high quality projects, kudos to the company who produced this kit, I’m looking for my next BAISITE project!

    My favorite picture.

Lovely picture I’ve been wanting for a very long time. Love that I could get a mate for it too. Easy to read, plenty of paint. It is being stretched at the moment so I haven’t painted it yet. The one and only CON I have is the way it is packaged. Folded! What were you thinking? Please consider changing the way these pictures are stored and mailed. Roll it around something please. They say ironing it takes the creases out; I beg to differ. Ironing does not take out the creases. I am depending on my stretcher business to get them out as much as possible. How about a styrofoam tube to roll it around? Light in weight and should work great.

    Numbers show through

I loved painting this picture but no matter how many layers of paint I put on, the numbers still show through. So once I am finished the picture, I can’t do anything with it since you can still see the numbers through the paint.

    Fun Winter Craft Project

I have not done a paint by number in many years do this one is a beginner level for me. However, I find the number in the spaces to paint so small I can hardly read it. However the kit came with a template and I refer to that often. Also, the numbers are hard to cover with the paint especially when the paint color is light. So going back to repaint over the number doesn’t always look neat. But, I will finish the project and it may be a nice picture in the end.

    Fun and pretty.

This is a pretty picture to paint. This is my 3rd paint by number and like the other ones I’ve done, the colors don’t really line up with how it looks on the Amazon site. The colors are less muted, and the grays are more beige/brown. The lines and numbers are fairly dark so you need to go over those more than once to completely cover them, especially the ones with light colors. There isn’t a reference page to look at in case you make a mistake, so be sure to take a picture of the canvas before you start painting. Also, it would be nice to have more than one of a couple of the colors that are used a lot on the picture…especially if you have to go over the lines and numbers a few times. So I ended up having to water down the middle parts a little. It’s a pretty painting and fun.

Love the result but word of caution

I bought multiple paint by numbers to test out during quarantine and when I opened this one I did not pay attention that the brand does not include a paper sheet printout with the numbers (which comes standard in most others). Some numbers are overlapping other areas, so when you start painting you are guaranteed to cover up numbers, and have no way of checking what the sections should be. The second painting I did by BAISITE I took a picture of the canvas before beginning which helped a TON when I had to do touch ups, second coat, or even to make sure I was reading the number correctly. Only other complaint is that they will only have one number per section, even if the section covers half the page or has multiple twists and turns, which can easily cause you to miss your place. Another thing that would be helped by including a paper sheet.

    Very pretty

Some of the paints were dried up. I have acrylic paint off my own and mixed colors to replace the dried up ones. So far I have had to replace 2 colors. I’m maybe a quarter of the way done. The picture is very nice. Some of the colors need 2-3 coats to cover the black lines on the canvas.

    Very nice painting; one issue

I really enjoyed this PBN. Because the areas to paint were often very tiny, it is very detailed and looks much like it is advertised. One small concern is that the numbers on the cheat sheet are very hard to read (because the areas are so small).A slightly bigger issue is that the finished painting is about 1/4″ short of 20″. As a result, I will have to keep this in mind when framing or putting it on stretcher bar. It won’t work right for standard sizes unless I add paint to one or both ends.

    Lovely design–paints could cover better

I really like doing this paint by number kit. The subject matter and the design are just great. The poppies are lovely. The colors are beautiful. There are nice big spaces to paint so it’s not as difficult as some others I’ve done. It’s relaxing. The numbers are easy to read. The canvas came rolled up, nicely packaged on a box–with no creases, ready to go–which is unusual. I didn’t have to get out the iron and make this one flat and smooth. The only drawback is that the paints don’t cover the numbers as well as I would like. I have to go over them more than once. I would hope this company could find better paints for future projects.

    Need to focus a lot

Colors – dried up very quickly so need to keep the box close which is hard too coz there are so many spaces where the same Color needs to be filled again and again.Focus: this painting is not for beginners it’s hard need lot of focus time and patience as there are very small small spaces which needs your attention.Quality – very good I haven’t finished it yet so might share more details after I finished and framed this.Fun – lots of fun, best thing to keep you engaged for long.

Umm if it dries quickly, you would want to keep it CLOSED when not in use. Lol this was almost as hilarious to read as the warning label on my dishwasher! That being said it’s everything you want in a kit! As always, order extra brushes if you don’t have plenty of variety fine tips.

Numbers become invisible only after five layers of painting

I really like painting by numbers! This is the 10th canvas I’ve painted. The good prints on the canvas are clear and well drawn. The pots come with a sufficient amount of paint. I know It always takes work to cover the drawings and numbers on the canvas. I loved the Poppies Flowers theme, but at this time the paint quality is terrible. I had to go through all the colors 3, 4 or five times waiting to dry between layers – even the dark reds – to hide the lines and numbers. It took me three hours a day for 15 days painting and repainting the whole picture again and again ! 2 green pots #8 and #2 were poorly mixed. Pot number 24, which in the drawing corresponds to sky blue, came with white paint. So, I have to use other blue color like the sky from previous paintings, mixed with white color and make it work. Definitely is not for beginners.

Nice composition, colors a bit off

I enjoyed painting this piece, but had a few issues. 1. While the numbers are easy to read, they are hard to cover since they are printed in black. 2. Some of the paints are very sheer and i couldn’t layer them enough to cover the numbers–specifically 13 & 14. 3. The paint for the sky wasn’t nearly as dark as the picture, the tub I posted would have been the darkest sky color, so i ended up mixing my own paint so i’d have a much bluer sky. But, it did turn out well and none of the paints came dried up at all. The canvas is nice and thick, but you will have to iron it before use as it comes folded.

    These are beautiful prints

I have never found prints like this in PBN, and that’s the reason I bought. I wish you could find more like this on the boards and not the rolled canvas. All these brushes! That’s a bonus. Its great not having to mix colors. The paint is thick, and that’s a good thing. I just dip my brush in water first and then the paint to thin it out. The thick paint makes it easier to cover the numbers and lines. This has been a lot of fun to work on. Looking for more prints in this style.

Pros and cons – easy overall!

Easy, especially for someone who would not self proclaim as an artist in any form.Easy to read numbers. Nice having reference sheet.Had larger paint areas which was nice that not all parts were tiny spaces to paint. Liked it for a nice project to add to new home.Cons:The paint will need multiple layers. Lighter colors even needed 3-4. Not terrible/ unusual but something to keep in mind.Brushes provided worked fine. Wouldn’t say they’re great so maybe if I were a “painter” I’d use different brushes but overall did what the 3 needed to. Use the tiny brush a decent amount for thin/ small areas. There were a lot of thin areas but stepping back it looked good having them. Just a little painful painting it.Purchased 2 Medog 12×16 Picture Frame Black Display Pictures to frame them since they don’t come in frames. Didn’t cut the canvas in fear of it fraying but paint area is 12”x 16”. Black frame really helped make it look more “finalized” and ready for hanging

    Time Consuming, but Rewarding

These are beautiful paintings when they are finished. Be warned though, if you’re a perfectionist like me, it will take a lot of time to finish. The lines are quite delicate, which allow for details on the finished painting. Perfect for killing time and getting a cool end-product.

Get ready to spend 5 lifetimes on this

Wow, this was a doozy. I wasn’t a fan of the beige, Grey, and red so I changed those three colors. Looks really cool if you can add metallic paint. This took at least 60 hours. I’ve done 100 plus PBN and usually they take me between 10 and 20 hours. If you are a beginner, I do NOT recommend this one. Paint quality was very nice. Got plenty of paint. I mixed in sawdust in a few paints to give it texture

Very advanced. Not for children under 13

The most surprising thing about this item was that I expected it to be a canvas. It is a piece of cloth/vinyl like substance. It was folded into eighths and even after stretching it out and clipping it down on my easel to try to get the fold lines out, they never worked out and even after I finished it and glued it down to the piece of carboard in the frame and smoothing out the lines as best I could, you can still see the demarcation of those fold lines in the finished product. Other than that, it is a beautiful picture. It was very advanced and I had to cut down several brushes to have brushes fine enough for some of the lines. Particularly in the stems. I was very pleased with the finished product and as long as you don’t dwell on those fold marks, it is very attractive. I painted it for my infant granddaughters room and it goes very well in there. They could include a bit more paint in each pot, too. With some of the colors, there was barely enough to finish the painting with about 4 of the colors. I had to add water to those colors to stretch out the paint. You have to go over some of the numbers several times to make sure they don’t show through on the lighter colors. People tend to think these paintings are easy, but it really takes a steady hand and is a lot more difficult than it seems. I can’t see anyone younger than 13 (or even 16) having the patience to see it through. Especially with some of the finer areas (again, like the stems). In my own humble opinion, I think that it’s an adults only item, just because of how long it takes and the commitment to seeing it through. It took me almost two months to finish, and i am retired and have the kind of time it takes.

I one of the best I’ve bought, more then enough paint

*Tip for all PBN kits. Buy a pack of acrylic white paint pins. And cover each number in sections before you paint it. I do sections and in that section I color like all the 5’s and ect.* So I’ll start off with the one bad thing. Like with many paint by numbers, the picture examples are better because they are blended paintings and we are painting individual sections. And the colors were green rather than the blue in the areas of the painting. With that said the amount of paint was the best. I always add a few drops of water to each color and mix really well with a toothpick and then sometimes I add more later on. However even if you don’t you will have a ton of paint because this is the only set I’ve ever received that I didn’t worry about running out and I only had to use two of the colors that had double and that was at the main end of the painting. So I have a ton of paint left over. Two the colors were vivid and it ended up beautiful. I wish it looked more blended but if I could accomplish that I would be a professional.

    Very detailed

Really enjoyed doing this painting as it was very detailed. Make sure you have a good thin tipped brush because that will help immensely. The only bad thing I can say is the paints, some of them, were very thin. I took one of the lighter colors and brushed it over the number in the area to be painted first so that wouldn’t show through. And then it might take you a second coat to go over the whole space to get good coverage. Would have been done quicker if it wasn’t for that but I was really in no hurry.

    Fun & easy!

Fun and condensed. Didn’t take up too much room. I did tape it to a board because it was rolling back up.The darker colors definitely needed a second coat (with one needing 3), making it hard to cover some of the lines.Would order from this company again.

    Very fun!

My roommate had never done a paint by numbers before so I was thrilled to find this 2 pack so we could each do one and use them as wall decor. Some numbers needed a second and third coat of paint to cover the number but there was more than enough paint to do so. Love, love, love them!
